After all the activities before Xmas we finally settled for a restive quiet christmas lunch of shrimp cocktails, ham, russian salad, corn, bread, green salad, and some drinks. Our supper was beef steak (butcher ran out of kangaroo meat), rice and more salads. Even the new member of the family wasn't spared of christmas trimmings. We decided to wear red xmas shirts for colourful effects. I also found out that cats and christmas trees don't exist peacefully..haha! Hope everyone had a great christmas experience! On Boxing Day, Dec 26th, after cleaning up and washing up we had a very nice Thai dinner in the Gold Coast with our New Zealand family friends. On the 27th of Dec. we left David at peace at home and headed to the dutyfree outlet shopping at 9 am..We opened woolworth's store.

The mother/daughter team...yes!! let's do some shopping!! It just reminded me that it is summer time in Australia...you and Vivi look cute in your summer clothes...
boiled potato, boiled carrots, boiled beetroot, peel them dice them in uniform pieces, add celery and dress with mayonnaise or ranch dressing. it was called a russian salad by my mother because of the red coloring caused by the beetroot.
Hi Manang. I asked Mama if i could give you the recipe for ham, she gladly said yes. I'll send it by PM as soon as i get it edited (her recipe is in taglish hehehe), also the recipe for biko. Didn't have time to do that over the weekend as school has started and i (and the other students) was getting over the pain of losing one of my students...
